“Antithesis” is a fatalistic and expressionist love story that debates the antagonistic relationship between fiction and reality and that rescues and transports the tradition of American Film-Noir to the contemporary and European context of the city of Porto.
Love appears as an element of salvation and becomes a tool for self-destruction through the critical and obsessive gaze of Alfredo, the protagonist and antagonist of this story.
