My Thesis

In a society in crisis that motivates the exile of young talented people, it is essential to acknowledge and celebrate excellence in academic work as well as celebrate the success achieved through dedication and effort invested in research and in the quest for innovative processes. Through a series of thirteen episodes, this project documents, illustrates and represents the life and work of Portuguese researchers living in Portugal, who choose to remain in our country to conduct research for their PhD theses. These people, whose work and research are relevant and recognised in the areas of Culture, Art and Science, aim to contribute knowledge and new perspectives to academic research, thus fostering the revitalisation of an area which is in such a fragile situation in our country.
